We call this Dahlia "Wine Ball" because of it's purple/burgundy color, and round shape. A beautiful, saturated shade of deep purple/red, this variety is sure to please anyone who loves deep, romantic colors.  Pre-sprout indoors the first of May, or plant directly into the ground after May long weekend. Very sensitive to frost. Dig up in the fall after the plant has died back from frost, and store in a cool dark place over winter.
